s6k.com is a network of original and shared journalism, media, politics, arts, and human rights.
We function as a socio-political / artistic think tank that develops a combination of goals-based and issues-based strategic solutions. Out of that information base, we initiate strategic solutions for nonprofit and for-profit entities.
sektor 6 kommunikations is an umbrella for us to do artistic production, new media productions, consultation / project management, education-though-art programs, and social betterment programs that encompass web based as well as real-world applications.
We strongly encourage browsing around the site. There's plenty to discover and learn about.
"Artivism" [arts and activism seamlessly combined], as a philosophy, enables us to create and utilize perfect fluidity between creative arts, various community betterment programs, and information sharing/dispersal.

the history of sektor 6 kommunikations

"I have always thought what is needed is the development of people who are interested not in being leaders as much as in developing leadership in others. " Ella Baker
"The price of freedom is eternal publicity" Pete Seger
"They were dumb enough to write it down. We need to be smart enough to read it." Cynthia McKinney
"If it is correct, as I believe it is, that a fundamental element of human nature is the need for creative work or creative inquiry, for free creation without the arbitrary limiting effects of coercive institutions, then of course it will follow that a decent society should maximize the possibilities for this fundamental human characteristic to be realized. Now, a federated, decentralized system of free associations incorporating economic as well as social institutions would be what I refer to as 'anarcho-syndicalism.' And it seems to me that it is the appropriate form of social organization for an advanced technological society, in which human beings do not have to be forced into the position of tools, of cogs in a machine." Noam Chomsky
"The whole history of the progress of human liberty shows that all concessions yet made to her august claims have been born of earnest struggle. . . .If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters." Frederick Douglass
"You never change something by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." Buckminster Fuller
